Nearly 25 years to the date, the so famous song, “We Are the World” is being remade by some of Today’s hippest musicians and celebrities. In 1985, “We Are the World,” was created for relief for starving children in Africa. Headed up by the late Michael Jackson, Lionel Richie and dozen of other popular stars of that time, the vision was modest and no one knew it’d become the iconic phenomena it is today. Needless to say, this remake has hopes of doing just the same thing it did nearly two and a half decades ago.
Sadly, missing from this generation’s line up include such stars as: Lady Gaga, Beyonce, and Justin Timberlake.
